I guess I was astonished by the news that 50 Cent (the rapper) broadcast a “stock tip” and his bazillion followers actually invested (course, there may be some investigation). I’d like to do that (well, not the possibly illegally passing on stock tips). It’d be nice reach out to more people with our message but I know I’m totally not taking advantage of Twitter. I think I’ve got Facebook down though.

Suppose I want to reach out to people who are in my industry to tell them about a service we have? That’s why I stopped using blogspot because it doesn’t seem to allow you to search by subject. Also, how do I broadcast our service to people outside my followers? Finally, I’m not sure I understand the concept of retweeting. Is that like link or backlinks? Thanks!

I agree with your about Facebook but you can still keep relative general privacy with Twitter. Privacy is becoming like currency. I personally don’t mind paying for privacy.

To be honest, I’ve never liked twitter. I also don’t like Facebook. They both seem to take the “private” out of “private life”.
