Google Buzz made a loud and controversial entrance when it launched in February shrouded with privacy issues and various other concerns.

Like it or not, it seems that Google Buzz is here to stay with many blogs adding ‘buzz’ icons to their posts. Today, we’ll make it easier to add some buzz to your posts with a free and exclusive set of icons for Google Buzz.

This set includes 24 beautiful icons in raster and vector formats.

They are completely free for personal or commercial use, all we ask is that you link back to WDD if you use them.

You can see a full preview after the jump. The download button is located after the preview. Enjoy!!!

So, is Buzz catching on – will this be a serious contender in the social game?

Nice icons.. however I won’t be using them… I don’t promote Google Buzz… not only beacuse it’s crappy.. but it’s all about Facebook and Twitter and the other social sites out there right now… We don’t need Google to try to dominate everything

Though i havent jumped on the buzz bandwagon, i am in need of some logos for making icon sets and the like, so thanks so much for sharing this handy set. :)

BTW – so love this blog. Please, please, please- keep up the great work. A decent blog these days is so hard to find, the majority are only blogging a redundant and shallow guest post, serving the purpose of a symbiotic gain for the guest and the guest-host, and nothing for the visitor. O round up posts of resources (some round ups can be handy and i do enjoy a few, inspiration being one wonderful round up example… but some are just desparate and tired tired tired) Or both.

anywho, thank you for all the wonderful and diverse content. Have a super day.
    ~Lauren

If I can impregnate my image over and inside one of these icons, embed my ca-pub: and tracking link code:, I wonder if Google Images will sense the relative likeness of my account matched with my image information?

If it does recognize who I am, then perhaps we could all adopt a similar approach and be iconic forever!

Using IrfanView it will allow you to make necessary and relevant changes to any image.

It should not just be about Google and their choice of color, why not impose a sign of Hope and include a charity symbol smack bang right in the middle where it will create more of a Buzz! Google aren’t utilizing the full maximum potential of their icons, they could do so much more by including an advertiser’s website link to help boost their sales including a sponsor icon all in the same one. They are eye catching but just imagine what a little incentive creativity would do by implementing a human face that leads people to want to be involved in a dying world.
