Good timing for this contest and prize! Going through the website for JQuery tutorials is not much of help. Since I am less of a novice, this book would be a good help.

Wish everyone including myself good luck!

I like books from SitePoints a lot! They are nice structured and written in a simple and understandable manner. For beginners I can highly recommend „Build Your Own Web Site The Right Way Using HTML & CSS, 2nd Edition“. Informations about Webdesign – and Development are often too overwhelming, but following well and moderated introductions – as shown in this book – converts the learning process into a fun part. I think “jQuery: Novice to Ninja” is also one of these fun making learning books from SitePoints repertoire and I really would be glad to win ones to make my next steps on the wild webfield path. :-)

Kind regards and best wishes to all participants!

I’m in! This is something I could really use. I missed out on JavaScript in the ’90s, and was just starting to congratulate myself on not wasting all that time, because JavaScript looked it was on its way to becoming Web Latin: The first popular language to die out. But then AJAX and all of the libraries bloomed and now I’m behind the curve, again.

    Thanks for the opportunity!
