40+ free PSDs and actions for mock-ups
It’s all about presentation. Ideas and concepts are great, but mean nothing if they cannot be properly communicated. To help others understand them, we may create prototypes or sketch out an idea to get to a meeting of the minds. Fortunately, in graphic design, we do that by creating mock-ups.
Most times when we create designs, it’s tempting to send a flat graphic, as is, to our client or out to our intended audience. It can work, but it’s much more effective when we have a way for people to actually visualize a design in its intended environment. It’s easier to understand a mobile app when it’s being presented on an actual mobile phone, rather than just a standard graphic in a simple size.

Really easy responsive design
It’s no secret that many believe responsive web is the future. Creating a responsive site means that it’s able to adapt to the many different browsers and sizes that are available. If I want to make sure my website I’ve created on my desktop can be seen on a tablet with minium scrolling and zooming, I’m going to be interested in creating a responsive site.
One reason responsive sites have become popular is because it just makes sense. It’s cheaper than creating one or more extra sites for mobile phones and tablets. It also makes sure there’s a consistent viewing experience amongst devices and desktop screens. It’s not fun having to increase the size of your window or scroll horizontally to see an entire website.
While creating...
