If famous logos were designed by hipsters

Hipster Branding is a sometimes-hilarious Tumblr blog that looks at what popular logos would look like if re-branded by hipsters. They've created designs for brands including FedEx, Twitter, Trek bicycles, Adidas, Goldman Sachs, and more. While the site is obviously satire, some of the brands featured might want to seriously consider adopting these new logos!

Android Design is a new official resource for Android developers that addresses designing exceptional Android apps. It includes educational materials on design principles and UI, as well as patterns, building blocks, and downloads to make it easier to actually start designing better apps.

Gesture icons for better wireframes

If you're building wireframes for touch-based applications or websites, indicating what can be done with various gestures is a huge pain. Gesturecons changes that, offering a variety of gesture icons to aid in the design and development of multi-touch interfaces. A dating game for typefaces

Type Connection teaches you how to pair typefaces through its game interface. Just choose a typeface to pair, how you want to go about pairing that typeface, and then view the available options. Once you pick a "date", you'll be shown various attributes of each typeface, and as well as why the two typefaces work together (which can be applied to other typefaces).

Get instant website rankings

Rranks makes it easy to quickly check the rankings of multiple sites. Just enter a URL, and Rranks will return the Alexa Rank, PageRank, and Age of each site. It saves sites you've already searched for, making it easy to compare them. The interface is slick and minimalist, making it a pleasure to use.

A free animated font for your video projects

Anodine is a free animated font for use with Adobe After Effects CS5 and CS5.5. Each letterform is a separate composition, meaning you can easily tweak the settings on a per-letter basis, and create virtually any design you want. It's a great font for video openings or other display-style video text.
