tiltShift.js is a jQuery plugin that uses CSS3 to create a tilt-shift effect on your images automatically. Currently, it only works in Chrome and Safari 6, and is only a proof of concept. Bourbon is a Sass mixin library that's easy to use and requires no configuration. Bourbon doesn't output any unwanted rules to your stylesheets, keeping your code nice and clean. Current vendor prefixes are included automatically, so you can stop worrying about them. And it uses SCSS syntax, keeping it as close to the original CSS syntax as possible.

Great use of 2D scrolling

Ian James Cox has created an awesome portfolio site that uses 2-dimensional scrolling along both horizontal and vertical axes (and even diagonally). You can either use the navigation menu and watch the site animate, or scroll to see it travel along a predefined path. It's a great user experience either way.

Sticky content, but only to a point

Sometimes you want to create content that sticks to a certain part of your page, but only to a point. In other words, at some point it has to "unstick". jQuery Stick 'em is a plugin that does exactly that. You can stick your sticky content to a certain area, and once that area is scrolled past, your content unsticks.

Windows emulation right in your browser

Nivio is a better way to run Windows on your Mac, and even works from your iPhone, iPad, or other device that supports HTML5 browsing. Your first 30 days are free; after that plans are very reasonable and there's even a free storage plan.

Limit textarea input and display character count

Scriptiny is a jQuery snippet that lets you easily add a limit counter to your text input fields, showing users the number of characters they have remaining. It’s a great addition to any form that limits a user’s answer length, mostly eliminating frustrating error messages that pop up after a user has spent the time to craft a message and improving the overall user experience.

Faster file sharing with online viewing
