Free font: LSTK Clarendon
LSTK Clarendon is a handlettered free version of the well-known, slab serif Clarendon typeface. It comes in two styles: bold and outline. It was used frequently for HOWL concert posters, designed by Kevin Lo from LoKi Design. It proves how great it works as a display font for things like posters or packaging.

Taxi converts street sounds to live music
Sound Taxi is an innovative project that transforms the sounds of London's city streets into beautiful electronic music in real-time. A classic black London taxi cab is outfitted with a microphone, over sixty speakers, and eight horns mounted to the roof, all routed through software that creates the music. It gets fantastic reactions from bystanders as it drives through the city.

A year of hand-lettering projects
365 Days of Hand Lettering is a project from artist Lisa Congdon, where she creates a hand-lettered sketch every day. She's nearly completed the full year now, and the work she's created is beautiful and often thought-provoking (many of the works include quotes from famous people). It's an inspiring collection! |
