thumbToday we celebrate our second birthday! And we couldn't be happier with the success we've had over the past 2 years.

Since many of you enjoy stats, here are a few numbers to give you some insight into WDD...

Since our launch on November 11, 2008, we've been visited by over 20 million visitors and served a total of over 32 million pageviews. We currently have 587 posts on our site and almost 45,000 comments!! Also, we're close to 80,000 rss subscribers and more than 200,000 Twitter followers.

All this wouldn't be possible without the kindness and support of our devoted readers and I'm truly thankful for the amazing following over the past 2 years.

It's been an awesome ride so far and I thoroughly enjoy communicating with all of you and receiving your emails, tweets, etc - thanks a million to all of you! Actually, make it 2 million ;)

As you can probably tell, things have been accelerating rapidly for us over the past year as we launched several new sites such as Techi, MightyDeals and just last week, BrushLovers.

And we're not done yet!! There's even more to come as we approach 2011 and enter into our third year. We're working hard on a few more exciting sites that will be launched over the coming months.

Many people have been very curious about what the upcoming MightyDeals is going to be like, and everyone's been wondering how much longer they'll have to wait. I can't reveal the exact date yet, but I can tell you that it's just a matter of days, not even weeks, so yes... the wait is almost over!

And the wait will certainly be worthwhile. We've lined up some truly unbelievable deals from amazing companies offering equally amazing products and services at discounted prices that you won't believe. All this is literally around the corner, so there's plenty to be excited about!

ipad2In celebration of our second birthday and to get everyone pumped about the imminent release of MightyDeals, we're giving away a 16GB iPad to one lucky WDD reader.

How to participate:
Please head over to MightyDeals and subscribe to our mailing list. Then come back to WDD and leave a comment about MightyDeals and/or WDD.

Please be sure to use the same email address in both websites (don't worry, your email address won't be exposed publicly in your comment). If you've already subscribed to MightyDeals, there's no need to subscribe again, simply leave a comment below using the same email address.

The winner will be announced here on WDD on November 30th, 2010. Only one entry per person. Duplicate entries will be voided. The winner will also be contacted via email.

Good luck to everyone and thanks to all for these incredible two years... it's just the beginning and we look forward to making the next year our best year yet!

[UPDATE] The winner is: #671: Liam Hammett
