We’ve seen great success with our weekly “Favorite Tweets of the Week” posts, so today we’re introducing the “Comics of the Week”.

This is a new weekly section that will feature a set of comics created exclusively for WDD.

The content revolves around web design, blogging and funny situations that we encounter in our daily lives as designers.

These great cartoons are created by Jerry King, an award-winning cartoonist who’s one of the most published, prolific and versatile cartoonists in the world today.

So for a few moments, take a break from your daily routine, have a laugh and enjoy these funny cartoons.

Pretty cool! I prefer longer comics though! Anyways, can’t wait for more of these.

I’m not really convinced that the fact a cartoon relates to our day jobs automatically makes it funny.

Then again, I think The Brads is cringingly abysmal but the rest of the web design community fawns over it enthusiastically, so perhaps I’m just an otaku loser that doesn’t fit in.

      Meh.

Hahahahaha, I find coming up with names for design-teams/proyects/websites/etc so freaking hard at times hehehe. And its so true xD, one tends to forget to eat and after 2~3 am in the morning you don’t feel like making even a sandwich xD

#2 got me on the floor LOL

in my opinion, one-dimensional gags like these need to be articulated in a drawing style substantially more engaging than “8 year old with a crayon”

    • Ollie

      Hmmm… sorry – not a big fan.

I dislike the drawing style and I struggle with the italics.

I find the best comics are those that allow for the recognition of different facial expressions as well as the text. This is just too sketchy for that.

    • Bruno

      Cool!

Thanks for the beautiful comics you have posted. I really like them. The third one is the best one according to me.
