25+ Useful Infographics for Web Designers

Wow! This is one of the coolest posts I’ve seen all month. I think one of the most striking things about all of these graphics is how well designed they are. That’s impressive considering how complicated the information is in some cases.

Wow, definitely one of the best entries ever. A few of my favourites are the periodic table of typefaces, browser wars and who participates online (I like it how the designer has made the tiny little boxes align such that they appear to be a smooth curve). Really amazing collection!

Fantastic Collection! Nice to see that we are always looking for simple explanation of the world. Almost the same like we are searching for simple graphs about the web. Good work!

These are so amazing! I love how chunks of information that would take up 10 pages can be represented in one brilliant graphic.

What the hell is wrong with you guys… you wrote at the end of the post “Do you feel infographics are effective to display information? Please share with us any other infographics that can be of interest to web designers.”

Big WOW! You keep coming up with such range and quality. This post has held me captivated, and wishing I could print them out to hang up in my office. Interesting to see the global color use during the year, and how in the UK and Germany, colors are so much more limited in the winter months.

Was #24 created manually or did you use graphing software? We were trying to create graphs like this in Xcel a while a go for a client & couldn’t get close to an image such as this.

I do not post much, but this has to be one of the most impressive pieces of work that I have seen. Amazing working, the detail is extraordinary. Well thought out, and the design is incredible.

I wouldn’t begin to say that these are “useful”, but interesting? Absolutely. Good collection.

This is a stupendous collection. Like you said in the intro, they can be “useful” for web designers (to use for talks and explaining things to clients, etc.), however, I don’t feel comfortable doing that without being able to credit the sources and/or get permission. Is there any way you could add links to the original sites to each entry, or in an appendix?

Seems you can more or less track down the sources for the images by clicking on them and checking out either the page you’re taken to, or the URI.

One thing: Web content doesn’t end with the user, it usually starts there, not web scraping. Site searches, Google searches and other analytics, feedback, etc. News from around the web, etc.

I done a research on the topic and learnt nearly all peoples will agree with your blog.I think i will add it in my favorite.

Instead of pouring over figures and long reports to decipher data, an infographic can immediately make apparent exactly what a dataset actually means.

That is pretty neat. At least Google has the consumers in mind for the time being.

I found the infographic about the worlwide domains to be my favorite. It seems lik each day there are more and more domains for counrtries I’ve never even heard of.

I wonder what the future of domains is going to be…What I mean is, I wonder whether on not search engines will continue to provide an exact-match domain value.

What do you guys and girls think?
